Eldorado canyon is the best playground I have had the joy of exploring. Five years ago, after picking up two spicy burritos from the corner store and finding out what a “real” 5.8 feels like on Werk Supp, the canyon has cemented itself as my go-to spot. I fell in love with the climbing because of its technical and heads-up nature and was drawn to the canyon’s history as a proving ground and hot spot for the culture and ethics of American climbing. With every route, the canyon provides me a unique experience that I won’t soon forget and I felt it was time to give back to the canyon as much as it has given me.
