Through my design consulting business, Depth Charge, I provide strategic design and innovation services to health and wellness, life science, and civic organizations. My focus is on complex local-to-global organizations addressing health, conservation, the environment, and the future of civic life – especially where these intersect to support healthy, more equitable and sustainable lives. Over the years I’ve advised and volunteered with a wide array of organizations such as USGS, EPA, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Althingi (Parliament of Iceland), Kaiser Permanente, GE Healthcare, Abbott Diabetes Care, National Interscholastic Cycling Association, and others. In the time I’ve lived in Boulder, I’ve developed a deep love for Eldo resulting from hundreds of hours climbing and volunteering in the park. Those experiences have given me a nuanced appreciation for the challenges facing the park in general – and climbers in particular – as the region and state continue to grow. To that end, I’m motivated to participate in the advocacy work in which ACE engages on behalf of the state park and the climbing community. I joined the ACE board in 2019.
