    On 7/3/21 I freed the route on solo top rope. “Harder than Touch and Go” ;-)…

    As of 7/4/21, the application will be updated to show two proposed bolts. (Upon further consideration I felt that just one bolt would make it likely that a fall from the crux would mean hitting the starting ledge / mini-ramp.)

      I agree. Here is what I know as of today:

      Mike Schlauch has been on the route a couple times, with the first time being in early July before the application was submitted. His purpose was to learn about your concern, that the route is independent. His determination was: Yes. Matt Reeser, ACE Board President, has climbed the route and brought others who also climbed it. Same conclusion.

      With new board members as of the week before last, I don’t know who is now on the board.

      My feeling is that ANYONE who wants to render an opinion should climb the route first, if not free then at least with tension on toprope or with ascenders — easy to do on this route, because it is plumb and not too overhanging.
